Below is a list of the awesome equipment that you will have at your disposal as you bring your idea to life!

EEG, ECG, EMG sensors

These easy-to-apply headbands, caps or wrist band sensors measure biosignals like brain activity, muscle activity, heart activity. to infer thoughts, moods etc.

Wireless robots and actuators

You will be able to build cool stuff that is controlled by your thoughts etc. with this equipment.

Virtual Reality headset

You can connect signals from your brain straight to VR headsets to create cool games or experiences. See some examples below for inspiration.

Research and consumer grade wearable EEG

These are more professional looking devices, or devices with great signal quality that you can get brain signals from.

Microcontroller boards and sensors

Arduinos, Raspberry PIs and other boards, with easy-to-integrate sensors such as accelerometers, light, temperature etc.

And now it is time for you to build your own fancy stuff!

Dates:

March 28 (Friday) to March 31 (Monday). See program details at the top.

Selection:

Selection (individual or team) will be based on your interest and excitement, as reflected in the ideas you share in the sign-up form. So put in your best and craziest ideas, irrespective of feasibility!

Teams:

Each team will have 4 (at most 5, if needed) members with diverse areas of expertise
Sign up as a team or as an individual
- Individual participants will be teamed up by us based on skills and interests

Mentorship:

Each team will be mentored by a PhD student working in the area of brain science or BCI. Faculty members from the Center for Brain Science and Applications will also be mentoring, brainstorming and helping you.

Prize gifts for top teams!

The hackathon is open only to IIT Jodhpur community members this year. Final selection is at the discretion of the organizers.
