Dr Swati Jindal
Dr Jindal has studied at Kurukshetra University, Haryana and graduated in 2014. She completed an MSc in 2016 from IIT Hyderabad. Later, in 2022, she got awarded a PhD degree from IIT Kanpur, under the supervision of Prof J. N Moorthy. Simultaneously, she went for postdoctoral research experience at KAUST, Saudi Arabia, to work with Prof Mohammed Eddaoudi, where she spent more than three years. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, IIT Jodhpur.
Dr Swati Jindal is a materials chemist specialized in the design, synthesis, and application of advanced organic porous materials, including Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs), Metal–Organic Frameworks (MOFs), and luminescent hybrid materials. Her current research interests encompass functional porous materials for energy storage, chemical sensors, photocatalysis, water purification, and environmental remediation. Her work aims to develop next-generation functional materials for sustainable energy, environmental, and optoelectronics.
