Shock Waves and High Speed Flows (SWAHS) Lab
Welcome to the the Shock Waves and High Speed Research Group (SWAHS Lab) at IIT Jodhpur. The SWAHS lab tries to advance the frontiers of research activities and technology development in the field of Aerospace and Defence sector. We also focus on extending the high-speed flows and shock waves research to other applications such as Refrigeration systems, Bio-Medical engineering, Industrial processing, Water processing etc. Some of the existing research activities undertaken in these directions are, Supersonic Air-Fuel Mixing in Scramjet Engines, Retro-Propulsion Systems, Shock & Blast Wave Attenuation, Solar Ejector Refrigeration and Desalination, Steam Ejector for Emission Control.
Experimental Facilities at SWAHS Lab
