We have openings for both computational and experimental projects. Apart from the ongoing works mentioned in the 'Research' page, we are in the process of expanding our research domain through collaborations with academia and industry. You might get a chance to explore your dreams with us 🙂.
We are always in search of motivated Ph.D students. IIT(ISM) admits students in its Ph.D program twice a year. You are encouraged to apply here and send me a CV at antarip@iitism.ac.in, mentioning your interest.
Interested M.Tech students can send me a CV at antarip@iitism.ac.in or meet me in the office to discuss exciting 2nd year projects.
Available MTech Projects:
(i) Predicting microswimmer locomotion through deep reinforced learning.
(ii) Numerical simulation (using AnsysFluent) and experiments on fluid flow through biomedical devices.
(iii) Numerical simulation (using COMSOL/OpenFOAM) and experiments on multiphase flow through microfluidic devices.
(iv) Developing RoboFish for underwater robotics application.
Interested 2nd and 3rd Year B.Tech students of IIT(ISM) are encouraged to meet me in the office to discuss exciting research projects. No specific prerequisite criterion is there. You can look into my 'Research' page for different research topics. In addition, new research topics may be considered depending on common interests and expertise.
Current Requirement: A pre-final year student interested in CFD simulation of underwater robots.
