Dr. Kedarmal Verma is an Assistant Professor at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore. He earned his PhD in Cognitive Psychology from IIT Guwahati, where he investigated the relationship between sleep and memory, particularly false memory formation.
Dr. Verma specialises in memory and cognition, with a focus on false memory and destination memory. His research explores how cognitive and emotional factors shape memory processes. Additionally, he examines the impact of sleep quality, sleep deprivation, and electrophysiological markers on memory consolidation and cognitive performance.
His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and has been presented at national and international conferences. Through experimental and interdisciplinary approaches, his work aims to advance the understanding of memory mechanisms and their broader implications.
