Welcome to the Aqueous and High-Temperature Corrosion Research Laboratory.
Our research is focused on the structure-corrosion property correlation of metals and alloys, corrosion protection strategies for extreme environments, and the development of electrodes for electrochemical processes at room and elevated temperatures. We work in the area of designing advanced protective coatings and novel materials to enhance corrosion resistance under severe conditions while investigating the fundamental mechanisms at the metal/electrolyte interface.
Corrosion poses significant challenges across industries such as oil and gas, refineries, nuclear power, and steel plants. We are always open to collaboration—students and researchers passionate about corrosion science and protection technologies are encouraged to join our lab.
