My research group activities involve understanding the properties of the hot and dense nuclear matter formed under extreme conditions of temperature and energy density in the laboratory. It consists of analyzing the experimental data collected at the current heavy-ion experiment, ALICE, and simulation study of the upcoming experiments' detector performance, CBM, and EIC using conventional and modern techniques. In the former case, we mainly focus on the measurements of heavy-flavors produced in the hadronic and heavy-ion collisions. Moreover, our group is also engaged in working on QCD matter's phenomenology in nuclear collisions, which includes investigating various aspects of the fireball, such as collective flow, the onset of deconfinement from hadronic to partonic phase, using multiple theoretical and simulative models available in the literature.
