I am a Mechanical Engineer, and completed my Master of Technology (post-graduation) from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD from IIT Indore with the Prime Minister's Research Fellowship. I am working on Lithium- and Sodium-Ion Battery Technologies. I have worked with the Electronic Corporation of India as a junior technical officer and also served as an EVM engineer in the 2018 Indian Lok Sabha election. I use the internet very frequently as a source of knowledge. During my engineering studies, I have gained a basic knowledge of materials science, as I was interested in crystallography and the structure of nanomaterials. During my MTech coursework, I gained a broad perspective and developed a research interest in energy storage. I worked on various skills, machinery, and software required for the synthesis, characterization, and analysis of the materials for batteries and supercapacitors. I have knowledge of nanomaterial synthesis methods, including sol-gel and solid-state methods. For the characterization of nanomaterials, I know X-ray diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy, thermal gravimetric analysis, and electrochemical characterization. I also have good hands-on experience with software such as Origin, FullProf, XpertHighscore, and Nova. I promise to give my best effort to conduct research and address the energy crisis by considering environmental and social causes.
