Completed B Tech from Marian Engineering College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, previously affiliated with the University of Kerala (Currently APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala). Even during my undergraduate course, I was intrigued by the topics related to Thermal Engineering, especially Heat transfer and Compressible flows. The project topic for my undergraduate program was focused on the flow field analysis in an aerospike nozzle. Due to my passion for teaching, I took up a lecturer position in the same college and prepared for the Gate exam the year after. I was able to crack the Gate 2011 Exam with a good score. Due to my interest in Thermal related subjects, I joined M Tech in College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET) Kerala, a prestigious institute in Kerala under the Thermal Science Stream. My supervisor at CET was Dr. S Anil Lal. My M Tech dissertation was on the Experimental and Numerical investigation of Natural Convection within the vertical annulus. Our project team developed a low-cost flow visualization setup for the experimental part, and the validation was done on the benchmark problem of flow past a cylinder. Currently, at IITH, I am working under Dr. Lakshmana Chandrala in the area of Transient Supersonic Flows.
