I completed my undergraduate studies (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli. I pursued a master's (M.Tech) from the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur with a specialization in Thermofluids Engineering. I am presently working on my Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. I am interested about how the interactions with the deformable elastic walls of soft microfluidic confinement influence the near-wall swimming and collective behaviour of microswimmers, such as bacteria like E. Coli. I am exploring this research area under the guidance of Dr. Ranabir Dey.
In addition to research, I enjoy playing volleyball and have represented IIT Jodhpur in an inter-IIT sports event. I wish to play at a higher level in the future. I also enjoy watching web shows and cricket. I have recently developed an interest in canvas painting.
Won best poster award under the theme sustainable technologies, on Industry day 2020 held at IIT Jodhpur.
Selected as a PMRF candidate in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad.
