Hyderabad is one of the eight largest cities in India and is the capital of the Telangana state. Getting to IIT Hyderabad
Hyderabad hosts Rajiv Gandhi International Airport that is well connected to various parts of cities in India, Asia, Europe and North America. Hyderabad has three major train stations: Hyderabad Deccan, Secunderabad Junction and Kacheguda Station that is connected to various parts within India. Taking a Prepaid Cab or app based Cabs like Ola, Uber, Meru etc is the best way to reach IIT Hyderabad. There are Airport Shuttle Services, Metro system which can be used to travel within the city.

In case you want to use public transport from the airport, you can take the Pushpak Bus from the airport till Gachibowli (on the RGIA-Miyapur route), then take the TGSRTC bus 217 from Gachibowli to Patancheru Bus Terminal, and from there, you can get the Patancheru-IITH bus that runs every two hours.
If you want public transport from Secunderabad Railway Station, take the TGSRTC Bus 219 from Secunderabad to Patancheru, and then the Patancheru-IITH bus service mentioned above.Â
