I am Partha Dey, a PhD Research Scholar and Prime Minister Research Fellow (PMRF) at Department of Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. I started my journey as PhD research scholar at IIT Hyderabad under the supervision of Dr. Gunjan Mehta in July 2021 and I have been selected for the prestigious PMRF in August 2022.
My research mainly focused on the role of chromatin remodelers in yeast meiosis, especially in meiotic recombination, chromosome segregation and transcription of meiosis-specific genes, however, my PMRF project entitled as, " Role of chromatin remodelers in regulating the transcriptional switch during meiosis."
