I am a Ph.D. scholar at the Dept. of Artificial Intelligence, Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. I am lucky to have Dr. Abhinav Kumar and Prof. C Krishna Mohan as my thesis guides. During the final semester of my undergraduate studies, I got an opportunity to work as a student visiting researcher under the guidance of Prof. Linga Reddy Cenkaramaddi at the department of ICT, University of Agder Grimstad Norway. During my tenure, I have worked on numerous hardware and software technologies, such as Robot Operating Software, Nvidia AGX Xavier, Ouster OS Lidar, Turtlebot3 Waffle Pi, etc. During the year-long term of work, I also got the opportunity to collaborate with various researchers from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc), the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore, and Birla Institute of Technology (BITs), Hyderabad.
Developing robots with the ability to learn from their environment and generalize to unseen environments has always interested me. Although the existing Deep Neural Networks have shown tremendous success in a supervised setting, the same models fail to perform whenever there is a domain shift. This is the primary area of research for my Ph.D. thesis. I plan to incorporate generalization abilities for autonomous ground and aerial vehicles.
