The SMR research group participated in the KPCSD Poster Competition on Sustainability organized at IIT Gandhinagar on April 15, 2026. The team presented the work titled “Biopolymer Packaging and Coatings Reinforced with Mangifera Quantum Dots” by Manasi Esther Jinugu and Hatif Alam from the Department of Chemical Engineering. The research highlighted sustainable biopolymer-based packaging materials with enhanced functional properties for environmentally friendly applications. The work was recognized with the Second Prize in the competition, reflecting the innovative contribution of the group toward sustainable material development and green technologies.
