A weekly interactive session with IITGN Alumni over Skype, which is part of the Digital Signal Processing course.Â
A single-question single-theme examination based on a recent event/incident (Example: COVID-19 pandemic, Mangalyaan Project). These exams usually have no time limit and students in most cases spend 10-12 hours at a stretch writing these exams.Â
Students using their mobile phone flash lights to write their Digital Signal Processing Mid Semester Exam during a power cut (1.30 AM, 02 Oct 2018).
Video with snippets of a few alumni who are pleased to share their thoughts on Open Mind Exams and Alumni in Class Sessions
“I think it is a very innovative way to set question papers and exemplifies a radical departure from routine and drab questions., I have no doubt students must be enjoying your examinations.”
"This is a very innovative and impressive pedagogical technique indeed…I really appreciate this very innovative and student friendly approach that you have taken."
