Batch: 2017-2018

Learning from IITGN Library: I joined IITGN in September 2017 as Library Professional Trainee. This was my first traineeship after the completion of my MLIS degree. During this traineeship, our batch got the opportunity to work in all the three different sections in the library and learn all the start to end procedure thoroughly. I have worked on KOHA and Dspace. It was a really good experience working and spending more time in the library especially enjoyed my part of work at the circulation desk.

This traineeship not only shaped me personally but also professionally since this traineeship paved the transformation from student life to professional life. My work gave me ample opportunities to learn the art of how to deal with the patrons as well as address their queries within the stipulated time. I'm grateful to work with mentors like Kumbar Sir, Panna mam, Tapas Sir, and Viral Sir.

Life after IITGN

Currently Position: Project Associate, INFLIBENT Centre, Gandhinagar

Job Profile: Working on different kind of projects like UGC-MOOCs, ILMS-CUH- Moodle, Patents, and E-PGPathshala and many more.

Interest in LIS Field: Research methodology

Academic/Professional Achievement: Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH-SET)
