Learning from IITGN Library: During my tenure at IITGN library, I was fortunate enough to have experienced first-hand in library works and learned, many different sides of what goes into a Library, the process of how different section of library works, as well as I learned there that how much work and details goes into every stage to fulfil the need of individual patron.

Currently Working: Project officer at Information and Library Network Centre, Gandhinagar

Job Profile: I am working under NIRF (National Institutional Ranking framework) project, approved by MHRD which ranks institutions of higher education across the country. I have contributed in Research Profession Practice (RPC) module of this project. My work profile includes:

• Made search queries for all higher educational Institutions from Web of Science and Scopus.

• Measuring the research publication citation and Highly Cited Paper (HCP). Apart from this I am also involved as a resource person in 5 days advance training program on “Bibliometrics and Research Output Analysis” which held on twice a year.

Interest in LIS Field: ICT application in library, Library Automation, Bibliometics, E-Resources Management, Archiving, Linked Data, R programming, Data Harvesting, Migration, mining and interpretation.

Goals in LIS field: Bibliometrics Analysis, Growth of Public Libraries in India

Professional Achievement: Pursue PhD.
