Batch: 2018-2019

Learning from IITGN Library: IITGN library taught me in real life all that was taught by my university within classrooms. It evoked a sense of responsibility in me towards the LIS community in this country and opened my eyes to the endless possibilities that this profession holds. Working for such a reputable institution, and working under some of the most respected LIS professionals in the country, has been an evolving journey, with the right amount of challenges that has made me grow as a LIS personnel, as well as an individual.

Life after IITGN

Currently Working: Library Information Assistant, IIT Gandhinagar, Gandhinagar

Job Profile: I am working in Information Resource Access and User Services, with focus on user communication and community outreach.

Interest in LIS Field: Psychoinformatics. I am particularly fascinated by how information reflects on user psychology and how that can be regulated

Goals in LIS field: Pursue my PhD, and make my research work a practical solution to modern day information crisis.

Academic/Professional Achievement: Qualified UGC NET twice (July 2018, Dec 2019)
