Learning from IITGN Library: IITGN gave me the exposure to the real world of library and information science.

I got a chance to learn and use my learnings in the library field. I also developed as a human being within my tenure period, being exposed to various professional situations and personalities in the work sphere

Life after IITGN

Currently Working: Engineer, Irrigation & Water Resource Department, Haryana Government.

Interest in LIS Field: Data Harvesting, Information Retrieval, Knowledge Organization

Goals in LIS field: Even though I am no longer associated with the LIS field, I have continued implementing my learnings of organization and people skills, the qualities I picked up from the LIS field. So even if not directly, but in passive form, I wish to continue to disseminate correct information and retrieve the relevant one for anyone who asks for it, as well as for myself.

Academic/Professional achievement: Gold Medalist, MLISc, Kurukshetra University; NET Qualified (Dec. 2017 & Jul. 2018).
