Learning from IITGN Library: My IITGN journey began in 2010 as library trainee and I worked almost 2.5yerars in IITGN library.  As I was the first trainee and I was fresher I learned new technologies to maintain most modern library under the guidance of Kumbar sir. I was looking after each section of the library.  However I feel special and lucky enough to have such mentor like sir and I enjoyed and learn a lot at IITGN.

Currently Working: Librarian, Adani Institute of Infrastructure, Ahmedabad

Job Profile: As a librarian, my responsibilities to manage contemporary library and delivering quality services to the students, researchers, and employees of the Institute. Earlier I was associated with Ahmedabad University and HGCE, Ahmedabad. I am having 10 years of premium experience in the field of library and information science. I Worked as joint secretory for ADINET 2017 (one day seminar) and attended many conferences and workshops.

Interest in LIS Field: Library services, Makerspace, Digital Humanities, Institutional Repository, Library Automation, Metric analysis, Library managements etc.

Goals in LIS field: Currently I am pursuing my PhD under the title “Role of librarian for supportive relationships between libraries and the digital humanities” from Gujarat University.
