Learning from IITGN Library: Working with the IITGN library gave me exposure to the practical functioning of the library, which was taught to us in theory. During my tenure at the IITGN library, I gained hands-on experience in different areas of library functions, including collection development, user management, conducting workshops/ events, research support, and many more responsibilities. Apart from professional development, I have enriched myself with different aspects of the profession. It evoked a sense of responsibility in me towards the profession.   

Life after IITGN: 

Currently Working: Library Associate, INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar.

Interest in LIS Field: User management, Library Automation, Scientometrics, Collection Development.

Goals in LIS field: Pursue my PhD and grow in the profession. 

Academic Achievement: Gold Medal in Master in Library and Information Science
