Learning from IITGN Library: Professional & personal competencies picked up during traineeship. It was a wonderful experience at IITGN with an excellent exposure provided across the various platforms starting from print resources to digital resources, E-database etc. The relation between staff, senior and junior was very cordial, which gave me an opportunity to excel further. During my interns, I learnt a lot from IITGN library staff, Now, I feel better and overcome the entire problem. This may be possible due to all bless and guidance during my traineeship and after all. I have learnt three most important things from IITGN, 1. Hard work second is punctuality and third is reading habits.

Life after IITGN

Currently Working: Professional Assistant, Indian Institute of Advanced Study Shimla.

Job Profile: Currently I am Supervising of Digitisation works (Monograph and IIAS journals), Subscriptions print and E-resources, maintaining Open journal System OJS, Dspace and Koha and give training to interns.

Interest in LIS Field: Bibliometrics, Altmetrics, Web indicators and open access

Goals in LIS field: Become Professor with specialisation in metrics
