Learning from IITGN Library: IITGN Library has given me an environment where I have worked in a fully automated system. I gained knowledge of LMS KOHA software and worked in a fully automated system. I learned about e-resources subscribed by IITGN Library & web-based scholarly resources. I have a deep knowledge of cataloguing and classification and the whole library's technical processing of print material. Extensively used Bibliographic Management Software Zotero while involved in creating bibliographies. Had an understanding of creating a resource on Career Development & Services and also understood the concept of Green Library. I learned about the user community, how to promote the use of library resources, and how to organize different exhibits. I got the opportunity to attend many workshops & Libraries brainstorming sessions. I got a knowledge of citation databases Scopus & Web of Science.

Currently Working: Library Trainee, OP Jindal Global University, Sonipat, Haryana

Interest in LIS Field: My interest includes Information Literacy, Information Retrieval Systems, Information Technology, and Intellectual Property Rights.

Goals in LIS field: To pursue PhD and do research to get new insights in the LIS field.
