Batch: 2011-2012

Learning from IITGN Library: IITGN provided me an opportunity to work on the subject that I learnt in the academic education. I was practically trained in the routine and work culture of a full-fledged library. I adapted to the professional approach to handle various functions like circulation, cataloguing, classification, accessioning and many other similar activities. Hence my academic knowledge expanded with the strong base which got developed there at IITGN.

Life after IITGN

Currently Working: Librarian (In- Charge), Bhavan's Shri A.K.Doshi Mahila College, Jamnagar.

Job Profile: Managing the academic library of Bhavan’s Shree A.K. Doshi Mahila College of Commerce and Arts Jamnagar-Gujarat.

Interest in LIS Field: Information Seeking Behaviour and User education attracts me the most, because it is the prime requirement to serve the users up to the mark of any library.

Goals in LIS field: To do deep analysis and vertical research in the information seeking behaviour of the users and the pattern of their expatiation regarding.

Professional Achievement: Currently I have been pursuing the Ph.D in the above stated area of my Interest.
