Experimental investigations involve pressure, velocity, heat release rate, emission concentrations and flame imaging measurements to study the occurrence of acoustic instabilities and emissions from turbulent combustion systems.
Further, the tools from dynamical systems, complex networks, and forced synchronization theory are used to analyze the nonlinear combustion-acoustic behaviors.
