Indian Women & Mathematics Annual Conference, IIT Dharwad, March 27-28,2021

NBHM was set up by the Government of India under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), in the year 1983. The objectives of the board are: to promote the growth of higher mathematics in the country; and to coordinate activities for the development of mathematics.



CWM is the committee of the International Mathematical Union concerned with issues related to women in mathematics worldwide. Its objectives include increasing the visibility and representation of women in mathematics at all levels, and promoting international contacts between national and regional organisations for women in mathematics.

Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad (IIT Dharwad) is an autonomous premier Science and Technology Institute established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in 2016 under the mentorship of IIT Bombay. Academic activities at IIT Dharwad commenced in July 2016 with B.Tech courses being offered in three core branches, namely, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. IIT Dharwad also offers programs at postgraduate levels for the core branches of Engineering while at the doctoral level, apart from engineering departments, IIT Dharwad also offers for natural sciences and HSS departments.
