Instruction for participants
Accommodation: Rooms have been reserved for female participants in Hostel 15 and for male participants in Hostel 1 for the following duration: 12:00pm on 4th July 2023 to 11:00 am on 8th July 2023. In case you need to come earlier than 4th July or leave later than 8th July for valid reasons, please let us know immediately. We will reserve the hostel room accordingly, but you will have to pay the room rent for the additional days. (No payment is needed for your stay from 4th July to 8th July).
Meals: Breakfast and lunch will be provided on 5th, 6th and 7th at the lecture venue, at no cost to the participants. You can have dinner at the hostel mess by paying a nominal price.
Timings: Breakfast will be served from 8:30am to 9:15am at the lecture venue on 5th, 6th and 7th. So as to avoid delays, please come to the venue at 8:30am. But on the first day of the summer school, please come to the venue at 8:00am to collect your registration kits.
Entry to IIT Bombay: We have given the list of participants to the security at the IIT Bombay main gate. At the main gate, please mention the event name to the security personnel and show any valid ID card to gain entry. The hostels are not near the main gate. So in case you plan to take an auto rickshaw or a cab to come to IIT Bombay, please get down at the allotted hostels directly.
Weather: Mumbai is currently experiencing monsoon rains which will last for another month. We recommend that you bring an umbrella/rain coat. While you can often use auto rickshaws to commute inside the IIT campus, they may not always be available.

To bring: Please bring the Cheque/DD prepared for the registration and any valid ID card. You are requested to bring your laptops for the hands-on sessions.
