"The wealth of knowledge is the best of all the wealth"
I am a Prime Minister’s Research Fellow (PMRF) and a PhD researcher in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay). My research focuses on solar thermal power plants and thermal energy storage, particularly thermocline-based storage systems and system-level modelling of concentrated solar power (CSP) plants.
In my doctoral research, I work on modelling, design, and techno-economic assessment of solar thermal power plants integrated with thermocline thermal energy storage systems. I use simulation tools such as TRNSYS and COMSOL Multiphysics to study plant performance, storage behaviour, and the role of thermal energy storage in enabling dispatchable renewable power. I am also involved in the design and experimental development of high-temperature molten salt thermocline storage systems.
I completed my M.Tech in Thermofluids Engineering from IIT Jodhpur, and my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida.
