Hello and welcome!

My name is Kalyan Barman. Presently, I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, at NIT Warangal.

Previously, I was a Research associate with Prof. Somnath Pradhan in the Department of Mathematics, at IISER Bhopal. I was also a Postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Mathematics, at IIT Bombay under the mentorship of Prof. P Vellaisamy. I received my PhD from IIT Madras under the supervision of Prof. Neelesh S Upadhye.

My research interests generally concern applied probability, primarily focusing on problems distributional approximations via Stein's method and Malliavin calculus.
