Women in S.T.E.M.
Purpose
Women in STEM serves to recognize and unite women in STEM and to discuss important topics in our respective fields. The organization would also serve to increase the presence of women on campus. We fully intend for this organization to be a place in which all persons feel welcome. We hope to create a support system for one another and foster a network of individuals who will one day work together to bring about a more inclusive and diverse future. We believe that at a school like Illinois Tech there is a need for this organization to exist.
