Jeong-Hyun Kang's Homepage

I am currently an associate professor of teaching and the director of master's program in the Department of Applied Mathematics, Illinois Institute of Technology.

I received my Ph.D degree in 2004 from the Department of Mathematics, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I wrote my dissertation, entitled "Covering and Coloring Metric Spaces, and L(2,1)-labeling of Graphs'', under the guidance of Prof. Zoltán Füredi in the Combinatorics Group at UIUC. After that, I was a postdoc in the Discrete Math group at Department of Mathematics, University of Central Florida. Until Spring 2022, I worked at University of West Georgia as an assistant/associate professor (with tenure) in Mathematics.
