Looking for a prayer room? The masjid offers a quiet space for students to pray and engage in other activities of faith. It's located in the basement of the IIT Tower (10 W 35th Street). Scan your ID at the front desk, take the elevator down, then follow the arrows on the directory pages posted in the hallway. Watch the video on the left for a first person walk-through to the masjid!

How to enter:
The MSA Masjid is open to everyone!
Just keep it nice and clean :)
We have wudu areas, bathrooms, and lockers for your stuff.
Please put your shoes on the shoe rack before entering the Masjid premises.
Hang your coats/jackets on the coat hanger
Timing:
The IIT Tower is open 24-hours a day, so you can come on in any time!
COVID-19 Restrictions:
No outsiders (outside of IIT) are allowed
Occupancy inside the prayer space cannot exceed (15) for the men’s side and (7) for the women’s side at any time.
Members must bring their own prayer rugs. Keep a space equal to at least 3 prayer rugs between in order to remain socially distant.
Members must socially distance from each other inside the space, maintaining at least 6 feet whenever possible.
Members must be wearing a mask or face covering at all times inside the prayer space.
We encourage members to utilize the prayer space for prayer only, and to limit their time inside the space as much as possible.
Lockers are available and are first come first served. If locks are required for items, members should bring their own locks.
Members must sanitize the washing area after use.
