Aaryan Dinesh Kanagaratnam also known by A. D. K. or simply Dinesh Kanagaratnam, is a Sri Lankan R&B and Hip Hop artist and music producer who has composed tracks in Tamil Language. He also often collaborates with music directors in South Indian Tamil Cinema as a playback Singer.
Dinesh Kanagaratnam is the first Tamil rap artist to be featured in a Telugu movie done for the Tollywood market by music composer Bobo Shashi. Also he is the highest paid Sri Lankan Tamil Rapper.Â
His subsequent film was "Magudi" which marked his first time working with A. R. Rahman on the Mani Ratnam directed movie Kadal (2013). In the Santhosh Narayanan-composed song "Mun Sellada" from the 2016 movie Manithan, he was featured alongside Anirudh Ravichander. In addition to creating other rap songs, Kanagaratnam and the rapper Sri Rascol founded the record label Rap Machines.
