Organizing a Hike
Please share the following information ASAP
Date: Typically Sat or Sun in the middle of the month (for a primary hike) or last week of the month (for the second hike of the month.)
Time: Early mornings after the park opens (usually 8 am)
Location: Address, Exact Geo coordinates (+ a URL for a map with this geo-coordinate)
We rotate the hikes between Peninsula, South Bay and East Bay.
Peninsula is Mountain View all the way up to 92 (Going further up than Redwood City reduces the participation drastically)
South Bay is Sunnyvale to Morgan Hill to Milpitas ((Going further south than Morgan Hill reduces the participation drastically))
East Bay is Fremont up to Hayward or Livermore. (Going further up than Hayward reduces the participation drastically)
Make sure there parking space for at least 20 cars at the trailhead
Make sure there is a picnic bench close to the parking for potluck. If there is none, we will have to add extra instructions for people to bring foldable benches/chairs.
