Host-Pathogen Interaction Lab is located at the School of Biology, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER-TVM), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The campus is widely known for its scenic beauty nestled in the foothills of Western Ghats. Our group focuses on understanding mammalian molecular pathways and mechanisms that detect, respond to, and control pathogens. We aim to identify common and distinct themes in host defense using various infectious disease models and promote the development of host-directed therapies in the future.
