Gobu is 1st year doctoral student and hails from Erode, Tamil Nadu. He joined our lab following his Master's in Organic Chemistry (2021–2023) from the University of Madras. In January 2025, he joined IISER Trivandrum to pursue his doctoral studies. He has hands-on experience in conducting experiments, synthesizing compounds, and operating analytical instruments. His interests include sports, movies, and music.

Badondor is from Shillong, Meghalaya, and currently in his fifth year of the BS-MS program, majoring in Chemistry (I² Chemistry). His research interests lie in chemical biology, particularly metabolomics, with additional interests in molecular dynamics simulations and cancer therapy using nanoparticles. He is motivated to do research mostly because he enjoys pretending he knows what's going on in his experiments until he actually does. Outside the lab, he likes working out, gaming, singing in the shower, playing guitar, and training mixed martial arts. A quirky fun fact - he trains like an MMA fighter but can't resist good desserts.

Sanskruti is a fifth year BS-MS student and hails from Sakharkherda, Maharashtra. She joined IISER Thiruvananthapuram in 2021. Her research interests lie at the interface of chemistry and biology, and she is still exploring specific areas within this interdisciplinary space. She believes that interdisciplinary science is the future, which was the motivation for her to join the i2 Chemistry programme- to experience the blend of chemistry and biology in action. A quirky fact about Sanskruti: She is a perfectionist at heart but often runs out of time while perfecting things. Outside academics, she enjoys watching Hindi movies and sitcoms, daydreaming about imaginary situations, and playing chess.
