Deep Intelligence Learning Lab (DiL Lab) is a multidisciplinary research laboratory dedicated to advancing the next generation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for understanding, interpreting, and modeling human behaviour. Our research lies at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Affective Computing, Computer Vision, Speech Processing, Machine Learning, Healthcare AI, Human–Computer Interaction, and Intelligent Sensing.
The primary vision of the laboratory is to develop human-centric AI systems that can perceive human emotions, behaviours, cognitive states, and social interactions in real-world environments. By integrating multiple sensing modalities including vision, speech, wearable sensors, physiological signals, and contextual information, we aim to build intelligent systems that are accurate, explainable, ethical, privacy-preserving, and deployable in practical applications.
