About the Symposium

The DBS Symposium 2025 is being organized by the Department of Biological Sciences (DBS), IISER Berhampur, as part of the institute’s 10-year celebration of academic and research excellence. Scheduled for 2nd-3rd November 2025, the symposium aims to bring together researchers, academicians, alumni, and students to celebrate a decade of growth, discovery, and collaboration in the biological sciences at IISER Berhampur.

This two-day event will feature plenary and invited lectures by eminent scientists, and DBS students. A special highlight of the event is the DBS Alumni-Current Student Interaction Session, which aims to strengthen the alumni network and inspire current students through shared experiences and career insights. The DBS Symposium 2025 not only commemorates a decade of IISER Berhampur’s journey but also looks forward to the next decade of innovation, collaboration, and scientific excellence.
