Statistical mechanics
“ Ludwig Boltzmann, who spent much of his life studying statistical mechanics, died in 1906, by his own hand. Paul Ehrenfest, carrying on the work, died similarly in 1933. Now it is our turn to study statistical mechanics.”
David S. Goodstein (in "States of Matter")
This is a course for 3rd-year undergraduate students who already had a course on Classical Mechanics and a course on Quantum Mechanics.
These assignments are NOT part of the coursework. These are for enthusiastic students to learn Statistical Mechanics more properly.
