It's time for our annual departmental retreat for the year - ORB'22. With ORB'22, we reach out beyond the classrooms, hear our peers, brainstorm ideas and share our solutions with fellow members of the department.
The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences (EES) cordially invites you to the annual scientific symposium ORB'22, scheduled from March 23-24. We are privileged to announce our speakers who will highlight various aspects of research and start-ups interesting to the EES department. We present to you a poster exhibition which will give different flavours of our current research activities. We also bring you adequate fun through sports and cultural activities. The student and staff co-ordinators at ORB'22 aim at sending out enchanting vibes through various scientific, cultural and sports activities and hence energise the academic environment.
We look forward to seeing you at ORB'22.
EES at IISER Bhopal endeavours to be truly interdisciplinary, integrating principles of natural and engineering sciences, to address geological and environmental issues related to the solid earth, the oceans, and the atmosphere.
The Department currently offers a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) and the Bachelor of Science-Master of Science (BS-MS Dual Degree) in EES/Geology/Environmental Sciences. In addition to a 'major' in EES, the Department also offers a 'minor' to BS-MS students. This offers students a unique opportunity to build on their foundation in natural and engineering sciences to solve problems in the domain of EES.
The Department will be launching its second edition of ‘Annual Meet’ on 23-24 March 2022. This meet intends to encourage interaction amongst faculty members and students of the Department/Institute, academics across the country and industry.
