Dr. Devivasha Bordoloi
Dr. Devivasha Bordoloi completed her PhD from the Cancer Biology Laboratory, Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India (2014-2019). Her doctoral research explored the involvement of the TNF-alpha induced protein-8 family in lung cancer development and progression. She later moved to the United States for postdoctoral research at The Wistar Institute's Vaccine and Immunotherapy Center (2019-2024), where she worked on developing novel biologics, including nucleic acid vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, and bispecific immune cell engagers, aimed primarily at treating cancer and infectious diseases. Her translational research introducing innovative approaches to immunotherapy has gained significant commercial interests. Currently (Aug, 2024 onwards) she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at IISER Bhopal. She is passionate about advancing immunotherapy and immune engineering research with a special emphasis on cancer, striving to contribute to affordable and effective healthcare for patients in India.
