Dr. Akshay Agarwal is an assistant professor in the Data Science and Engineering Department at IISER Bhopal, India. He received his doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from IIIT-Delhi, India in 2020. He has also worked as a postdoctoral scientist at the University at Buffalo, NY, USA from January 2021 to September 2022 and as a research assistant professor at Texas A&M University, Kingsville, USA from December 2019 to December 2020. His Ph.D. thesis ``Panoptic Defenses for Secure Computer Vision'' won the IEEE Biometrics Council Best Doctoral Dissertation Award 2021. His research interests are machine learning and deep learning including fairness and trustworthiness of biometrics and computer vision algorithms. He has authored over forty publications including, journals and peer-reviewed conferences. He is on the program committee of several top-listed research conferences including, ICML, CVPR, and NeurIPS along with the reviewer of top journals such as IEEE TIFS, IEEE TNNLS, and PR.

Ketan Kotwal is a researcher in the Biometrics Security and Privacy Group at Idiap Research Institute, Switzerland. His research focuses on various biometric recognition modalities, including face, fingerprints, finger-vein, and gait, as well as the robustness and security of these systems which refers to the detection of presentation attacks, deepfakes, and image manipulations. He is also involved in the assessment and mitigation of demographic bias in biometric recognition technologies.
Dr. Kotwal obtained his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay, India), for which he received the prestigious ``Excellence in Ph.D. Thesis Award'' from IIT Bombay, as well as the ``Best Ph.D. Thesis Award'' from the Computer Society of India. Based on this work, he co-authored a research monograph ``Hyperspectral Image Fusion'' published by Springer, US. He has been an active consultant to various startups in computer vision and machine learning. He has recently served as a member of the PC for AAAI 2025 and as the Publication Chair for IEEE IJCB 2024.

Kartik Thakral received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering Roorkee, India, in 2019. He was awarded the prestigious Prime Minister Research Fellowship in October 2021. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. His research interests include Responsible AI, Machine Unlearning, Deepfakes, and Biometrics. He has authored over fifteen publications in high-impact journals and peer-reviewed conferences. He has served as a reviewer for several top-tier research conferences, including NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR, AAAI, ICCV, ECCV, and WACV, as well as for leading journals such as IEEE TBIOM, IEEE JSTSP, PR, and Scientific Reports.
