About IWM
Indian Women and Mathematics (IWM) is a collective of mathematicians that has been in existence since 2009. Its objective over the years has been to encourage more women to pursue higher education in mathematics, and to provide an environment, and exposure to new trends, that enables them to take up careers in mathematics. It also aims to organize various workshops and conferences that focus on presentation of original research work and also on discussions about career opportunities in mathematics.
