The equipment and facilities available in our group are listed below. Please note that these facilities are also open for others to use on a chargeable basis as per prevailing IISc norms. Please contact materials.civil@iisc.ac.in for more information.

Two programmable muffle furnaces:
Peak temperature of 1200 °C
Peak temperature of 1600 °C
Two programmable hot air ovens up to 250 °C, controllable heating rate, etc.
Three rooms that can hold a set point temperature and relative humidity (RH).
RH range: 40% to 98 %, ±3%
Temperature range: 20 °C to 80 °C, ±3 °C
Water baths and curing tanks for conditioning specimens in water or alkaline solutions at different temperatures (5°C - 99°C)
High performance workstations
Access to SERC/CDS.
Access to software including:
