Purpose
We live in the digital era, where wide usage of internet accessible devices is commonplace. The internet can be a safe, fun and informative place with the right e-safety knowledge. It is very important for us to better understand the risks of releasing personal information, recognize unethical behavior or prevent cyber crime. International Indian school (IIS) has taken the initiative to equip all the stakeholders namely, the students, staff (teaching, non-teaching as well as administrators) and parents with relevant information to be e-safe and use the technology in a more responsible way.
E-SAFETY
E-safety at the simplest level means being safe on the internet. Educators play an important role in inspiring young people and shaping their futures, but they also have a responsibility to safeguard childrenโs wellbeing in both classroom and online settings.
We are happy to share that the school has been certified by National Online Safety UK (NOS UK) as a certified school. This shows the commitment of the entire school community, school leaders, students, teachers and parents to online safety.
Let us be aware that a community approach to online safety is best to protect and educate children in their safe use of internet and technology, while enabling trusted adults with key information to identify online risks and establish protocols for escalating any incidents
