General Assessment Guidelines
All the modules will be evaluated based on continuous assessment practices such as regular quizzes, assignments, report submission, problem solving, coding assignments etc. All the modules are graded. The grade system will be similar to the grading system of the institute. The metric of performance of a participant in the program will be the CPI, i.e. cumulative performance index. Where CPI = Total Grade Points Earned / Total Credits of Program. To calculate the grade points earned in a particular course, the multiplier corresponding to the letter grade awarded for the course is to be multiplied with the course credits. Total grade points earned is the sum of the grade points of all the courses.
Certification
The participants will receive a grade card indicating the grades earned for each of the courses. The participant who has received no ‘F’ grade in any of the courses will be eligible for a certificate.
In case of a candidate failing in any of the examinations, he/ she will have to bear the re-examination charges of INR 1000 per course.
Code of Conduct for Participants
The institute has zero tolerance for Plagiarism. All the written works submitted in the form of assignments/ reports/ abstracts etc must not include any copyrighted material.
LEAVE ATTENDANCE:
Students/ Scholars are eligible for following leaves:
Casual leave: 2 days in one session
Medical leave: Maximum of one week (7 days) per session
Note: Prior approval of the program coordinator is mandatory for all types of leaves.
It is mandatory for students to have 80 % attendance in lectures (inclusive of off campus and on campus) and 90% attendance in Lab works to appear for final evaluation and become eligible for a certificate.
