About Me:
I am an Assistant Professor in the Electronics and Communication Engineering Group at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City (IIITS). Prior to joining IIITS, I worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, working with Prof. P. Rajalakshmi. Prior to this, I obtained my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, where I was advised by Prof. P. Rajalakshmi. I received my M.Tech. in Telecommunication Engineering from National Institute of Technology Durgapur and my B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam.
Research Interests:
Hyperspectral and Satellite Image Analysis, Computer Vision and Image Processing, Applied Machine/Deep Learning, UAV Based Sensing for Sustainable Agriculture.

(06.08.2026) Research paper titled "Sorghum Nitrogen Treatment Classification Using Hyperspectral UAV Imagery and Hybrid Ensemble Band Selection" has been accepted for publication in Remote Sensing Applications: Society and Environment Journal (Elsevier).
