Dr. Mamta Anand, is Assistant professor, Grade I, in the department of the Liberal Arts of PDPM IIITDMJ. She is a Fulbright Doctoral Fellow and has done her research at Harvard University and Colgate University, USA. She is also the recipient of the International Award for Research on Emerson from the Emerson Society, Washington DC. USA.

She has to her credit, seven books published on her areas of research interests like, Spiritualism, Transcendentalism, Gender Studies, Biographies of great men and women, Creativity and transformative Innovations.

Her book on the former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, is housed in the Parliament Library of India and was acknowledged by the former President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

Dr. Anand also writes short stories and novels, that have been published and were taught in the Bachelor of Arts syllabus in the Indian Universities and Colleges. She has path breaking research papers published in Journals of repute.
