While we may have more water than we need, not all of it is safe for consumption. The little (2.5% of the total water present) that we have though is not distributed equally. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), in Africa, household water use averages 47 liters per person. In Asia, the average is 95 liters while in the UK and US, it is 334 liters and 578 liters respectively per day. There is a need for the privileged to consider the poor as well. Therefore, we have targeted the problem of unequal distribution of clean water with conservation by the ones that have it in plenty.
