Neutralinator

The idea of the project was to make a prototype that would neutralize the acidic water in ponds and lakes. Acidic water in water bodies affect its marine life to a great extent and since humans are directly dependent on this marine life, it also affects human life. We thus, created 'NEUTRALINATOR', a machine that would meet the required target.

Neutralinator consists of following components:

• Arduino UNO
• pH Sensor
• Peristaltic water pump
• LCD Display
• Volume Input Keypad

The code for the functionality is fed into the arduino. As soon as the power of neutralinator is switched on, the display shows the initial pH of pond/lake. It then asks user for the volume input which is available with the government agencies. Finally it discharges the required amount of base into the water so that the final pH settles somewhere between 7-8 which is safe. A message for 'Water is Safe' is also displayed hence.
